The "NEW PRODIJ"
- The junction surface is now horizontal to make much easier the implementation of the electronics devices;
Here's the NEW PRODIJ. In fact, only the fuselage is different.
Like the Arkanj's fuselage :
- The V form tailplane base plate optimize the accuracy and the reliability of the V stab gluing.
- The wing fastening inserts are already fixed.


The wing section is designed to be used with elevons (fullspan, 30% of the wing chord) and 4 axis flying. Therefore they are very efficient and allows
the PRODIJ to be very versatile (speed, acrobatic and thermal).
The wing (about 330 g) is made with high density polystyrene cores covered by one lay of carbon/glass fibre
tissu & one lay (45° bias) of 100gr/sq.m glass fibre tissu (torsion rigidness).
The is wing very rigid and resists to the strongest bungee and the maximum ballast.
The ailerons are already cut.
The V-tail is done with 2 sets of 1.5mm balsa sheets reinforced with 100gr/sq.m glass fibre also used as
flap hinge.

WARNING : to avoid interferences, the antenna must be at least 50cm longer than the fuselage. Make it longer if necessary.

Prodij decoration
The Prodij is bicoloured : a yellow or white base and another colour to choice.
The colours avalaibles are : orange, red, pink, green,
light blue, dark blue, milka (light purple), dark purple.

The PRODIJ is an amazing glider. Although the glider is very safe to pilot, you need to
have some flying skills (3 channel controls pratice) and perfect control sytems.
Therefore, follow carefully the advice of the building notice, for examples :
- additional micro-ballon/epoxy mix in ailerons edge to get enough rigidness;
- Servos without play;
- metalic gear servos (HS85MGB for the ailerons, NARO PRO BB (12g) for the V-tail)
- ...
The PRODIJ is designed to 4 axis flying. But this way to pilot is
not mandatory : different flap positions are sufficient to get the flap benefits. The 4 axis flying allows you to improve the use of the flaps : smooth real-time adjustements
of the wing lift.
If you do not feel confident to pilot the PRODIJ (only 2 axis control practice), then buy a
MINIJ. This glider is perfect to learn 3 and 4 axis flying.
